¡Hola, amigos! I'm Amber Kiefer—Spanish speaker, Speech-Language Pathologist, and mom of 3 (plus one wild puppy!) I first learned Spanish as a child living in Chile and Argentina and have used it socially and professionally since that time: traveling to 5+ Spanish-speaking countries and previously working for Arkansas Children's Hospital as their bilingual pathologist.
With 15+ years experience as an SLP and a love for language, I now offer fun, play-based Spanish group classes that help kids learn naturally through connection, movement, games, music, and laughter!
The group environment brings a natural enthusiasm and energy giving your child a rich environment for meaningful practice. Kids having fun = motivated kids!

Hi! My name is Abigail Thomas. I am in my last year as a legal studies major at UALR. After graduation, I plan to apply to law school with the goal of becoming an attorney.
I have my interpreter certification in Spanish through Language Connects and am working on my state certification for the courts. I'm also a proud mother of two daughters.
I was raised by my grandparents, who only spoke Spanish, so it became my first language. I have a passion for helping others, and I've really enjoyed teaching Spanish classes!

Amber has a gift for connecting with and motivating kids to want to learn. This class was a perfect fit for my kids who are being raised in a bilingual home but are hesitant to speak Spanish. The classes are very stimulating and my kids always looked forward to going.
